2017 Nanhua Consensus Retreat Highlights Flipped Classrooms and Philosophy of Venerable Hsing Yun
In order to enhance teaching effectiveness, Nanhua University, headed by University President Lin, gathered in Fo Guang Shan, to preside over a 250-member delegation of full-time teachers and supervisors to hold the “2017 Nanhua Consensus Retreat”. Flipped Teaching was discussed to stir and ignite teacher pedagogy as part of Nanhua’s continual development and strategies for the future. In addition, five concepts through Venerable Hsing Yun’s calligraphy works were reflected upon including: “First Passion”, “Zen”, “Buddha’s Mindset”, “Auspiciousness”, and “Symbiosis and Fortune”.
